1st Line Video Conferencing Support Engineer required for our Managed Services client based in London. Candidates for this opportunity will be monitoring the customer networks and assist in the launching of live operative assist calls. This is a great 1st line position where candidates can gain great experience in becoming a Video Conferencing / Unified Communications Engineer.The key duties of this position is to:· Taking first line helpdesk calls, by means of phone, email and video· To log a case in Netsuite that all calls are reported on the video helpdesks and work with Video engineers to resolve.· To liaise with customer and ISP when ADSL/SDSL connections and video units are down in our monitoring system· To log the lost connection on Netsuite and ascertain why the unit is down and work with VC engineers and other parties to rectify.· To launch and monitor operator assisted video conferencing calls and ensure the video and audio quality are suitable for the attendees.· To carry out any other duties required by management.Candidates for this position must have:· Knowledge of video conferencing · Knowledge of ISDN/H323. · Experience in providing technical support to customers and staff · Good customer services skills and interpersonal skills. · Tandberg accreditation TCAP preferable but not essential Candidates must also be able to work the following shift pattern:· USA 3pm to Midnight, APAC Midnight to 9pm and Weekend Shift from Thursday to MondayIf you feel like you have the right skills for this opportunity, please apply as soon as possible.
